Spicy Mutton Fry Recipe

Your guests are going to love this hot mutton dish, we guarantee.

What you need:

1kg mutton/lamb
1 cup Fresh grated coconut
3 big Onions diced 
3 tbsp Ginger Garlic paste 
3 tbsp Coriander seeds
2 tbsp Black pepper corn
5 Whole red chilly 
Oil to fry

Powder separately 
5 Green Cardamoms
2 inch cinnamon stick
3 tbsp Fennel (Saunf)
4 Cloves

Preparation time: 15 minutes

Cooking Time: 40 minutes

Preparation method:

1. Dry roast coconut till brown in colour. Separately dry roast the coriander seeds, pepper and chillies. Cool, and mix the two in a blender to make a paste.

2. Cook mutton until ¾ done and keep aside. 

3. Fry onions in sufficient oil and when it turns pink add ginger garlic paste. Fry for another two minutes on low heat.

4. Add the cooked meat, paste and powdered spices. Increase heat to high and fry for two minutes.

5. Lower the heat and cook for another five minutes. 

6. Adjust the seasoning.

7. Serve with rice or Indian bread (Roti, paratha, naan) of your choice.
