Mangalorean Sausage masala

Spicy, fried sausages for starters or a side-dish.

What you need:

Sausages: 10 pieces
Red chilli powder: 1 tsp
Turmeric powder: 1/2 tsp
Coriander powder: 1 tsp
Pepper powder: 1 tsp
Cumin (Jeera) powder: 1 tsp
Yogurt: 1 cup
Salt: to taste
Oil: 1 tbsp

1. Mix all the dry powders with yogurt. You can also use 2 tsp of Bafat powder, if available, instead of the dry powder masalas.
2. Add the masala to the sausages and marinate for at least an hour.
3. Shallow fry the sausages till done.

Note: You can sprinkle some lemon juice to the prepared sausages for taste.
