Nicole Kidman Weds Keith Urban

Nicole Kidman and Keith Urban got married this Sunday, in Australia.

Ever since country music singer Keith Urban and Oscar-winner Nicole Kidman announced that they had returned to Australia to be married, there have been strong rumours of a weekend wedding. Well, the local press was right in their guesses, as the wedding was solemnised on Sunday evening. The wedding took place under heavy security but there were huge crowds straining to get a glimpse of the bride. 

The wedding was a traditional Catholic one. It took place at a gothic-style Catholic church near Kidman's home in Sydney's northern suburbs. The probable guest list will include Naomi Watts, Russell Crowe and Hugh Jackman, director Baz Luhrmann, and Rupert Murdoch and his wife Wendi Deng. 

Nicole Kidman was earlier married to Tom Cruise for 10 years. They have two adopted children. Both, Kidman and Urban are 38 years old and are fellow Australians. The two purportedly met at an awards function held by the Australian government to honour both of them..
